The home life of my youth was filled with diverse music from soul, funk and pop to jazz and Broadway. After my father introduced me to jazz, I became an immediate fan of music, listening to all of his records and many more. I especially enjoyed the music of George Benson, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Olivia Newton-John, Barbara McNair, Ella Fitzgerald and Julie London. Years later, as a professional vocalist, I performed with some of those legends. Highlights include bringing in a New Year with Earth Wind & Fire at Fox Hills Resort in Connecticut, singing backup in Sisters of the Sixties featuring vocal legends Mary Wilson, Beverly Lee, Darlene Love and Leslie Gore at Town Hall in New York City, appearing in Switzerland with Olivia Newton-John in Grease Das Musical and singing on the 50th anniversary cast recording of Guys and Dolls. Recently, I was inspired to produce my own solo debut recording“Satin Mood,” a jazz tribute to Julie London.
